Chip's career in wealth management began in 1996, when he joined Merrill Lynch. As a Portfolio Manager in the Merrill Lynch Personal Investment Advisory® (PIA) Program, he helps meet individual client needs by building customized portfolios. In addition, Chip specializes in intergenerational wealth transfer strategies, using a holistic approach. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certificant, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., and also holds a Certified Investment Management AnalystSM (CIMA®) designation.

Chip earned a degree in Economics at UCLA and lettered on the Bruins' varsity tennis team for three years (and still plays highly competitive tennis). He is a director of the Bruin Professionals organization and a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association. Chip coaches youth soccer and basketball, and is personally active in golf, basketball and tennis. He and his wife, Alissa, live in Calabasas, CA, with their three children.
