Terrence Byrnes (Terry) is a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner whose focus is on helping high net-worth individuals and families as well as business owners and retirees preserve, protect and grow their wealth.
The priciples of asset allocation and diversification are at the core of Terry's approach to asset management. In constructing a portfolio, the goal is to utilize low and non-corelating assets to keep the risk profile low, while at the same time maintaining the potential for desired growth. The result of this approach is an investment plan/portfolio that reflects your risk profile AND addresses your overall goals and objectives.
Terrence Byrnes CFP®, has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Marketing from San Jose State University. Prior to working at Merrill Lynch, Terry lived and worked in Asia for approximately 7 years.
Terry also has an International Financial Advisor (IFA) designation, allowing him to help non-US residents with their U.S. and global off-shore investments. Terry is conversant in Japanese (Nihongo ga dekimasu!).
Terry lives in Los Gatos with his wife, Tammy, and their three children.
