PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
Richard Rosbach, Certified Special Needs Advisor, CFM, joined the Bellingham Merrill Lynch office in 2002. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
My clients come to me because I am not interested in easy solutions or short-term relationships. I serve as a strategist, helping my clients manage the long-term decisions that will determine the wealth they and their families could accumulate. I develop wealth management strategies designed to give clients the best chance of achieving their goals. I continuously monitor these strategies to ensure we stay on course. I work hard to be knowledgeable and clearly explain the investment opportunities, the ever-changing market conditions and their portfolio returns. I stay in touch with my clients on an ongoing basis with phone calls, face-to-face meetings, and detailed reporting.
My objective is to provide results orientated service and the best advice to my clients, without compromise to ethics or integrity. I strive to provide outstanding client service, while ensuring confidentiality at all time.
I live in Bellingham with my wife of over 10 years, Winnie, and our 3 children, Ben, Amelia, and Sam. I am actively involved with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (our son, Ben, was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in January 2005), serving on the JDRF Northwest Board of Directors. As part of the JDRF, I have served as Corporate Development Chair for the 2008 & 2009 Nordstrom Beat the Bridge to Beat Diabetes, and I am involved with Government Relations for the JDRF. I am a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge #194, where I had served as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for 2 ½ years. I recently became an assistant coach for my daughter’s soccer team. Finally, I am the President of the Whatcom Business Leaders, a business networking group that also gives back to the community.
