Stu joined Merrill Lynch in 2005, and has a combined twenty years of experience in the Banking and Financial Services industries. His institutional investment management career in public and corporate finance began in 1990 and culminated eleven years later with his role as a Director in the Communications and Media Finance Group of Fleet Bank. During his career as an institutional investor, Stu collectively managed or originated over $3 billion of securities.
Since redirecting his institutional focus towards private wealth management, Stu has facilitated financial strategies for his clients with careful attention to their unique needs and objectives. He provides seamless, knowledgeable access to the wide array of financial services offered at Merrill Lynch. Stu's clients have come to enjoy an unexpectedly high degree of personalized service and accessibility compared to their experience elsewhere.
Stu obtained a Bachelors Degree in Economics from the University of Rochester in 1990 with a citation of achievement in finance. In 1996, he earned a Masters of Business Administration from the Columbia Business School in New York. Stu graduated from Columbia with a Concentration in Corporate Finance and Beta Gamma Sigma recognition.
Stu is part of the leadership team of the Princeton-area Einstein's Alley Collaborative, a grass-roots effort committed to facilitating the success of local entrepreneurs. He is a proud father of his son, Schuyler, and daughters Aubrey and Teagan. As the parent of a special needs child, Stu volunteers with the Montgomery School District's Special Education PTA where he is Vice President and serves as Chairman of the Membership Committee.
