Kelly began his career in the financial advisory industry in 2002 and joined Merrill Lynch as a Financial Advisor in 2008. He is a graduate of Texas Tech University, earning a B.B.A. in Finance and Economics, an M.S. in Personal Financial Planning and an M.B.A. in Business Administration and Finance. Kelly is a member of the Texas Tech Alumni Association, the FPA of Houston, the Houston Heights Association, the Shady Acres Civic Club, and various other community and wildlife betterment organizations. He lives in The Heights of Houston with his wife, Emily.

Aleta graduated cum laude from Houston Baptist University, with a double major in Business and Finance. She and her husband Rob, wed for over 11 years, reside in the Hearthstone subdivision in Northwest Houston.
