PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
Julia seeks to help people transform their financial visions into reality. She has been helping people fulfill their goals since 1984.
A graduate of Iona College, and with an M.B.A. from New York University, she joined Merrill Lynch in 1992. Julia's areas of focus include retirement planning, wealth management, cash flow analysis, and liability management. She utilizes tools such as Monte Carlo analysis to help clients better understand the long term implications of their financial choices.
Julia has been designated a Certified Special Needs Advisor by the Merrill Lynch Families of Children with Disabilities program.
In addition to her work with clients, Julia has coached and mentored other Financial Advisors, and is recognized as a resource on retirement planning issues, including those of domestic partners. She is also an instructor at Pace University, Lubin School of Business, Center for Professional Education.
Julia is a Certified Financial Manager, a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®), and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.
Ms. Peloso was raised in lower Westchester, and has lived in the New York metropolitan area most of her life. Community service is very important to her, and she is active in several local charitable and service organizations.
