Joshua’s mission, first and foremost, is to understand your unique financial needs. To take the time, to ask hard, smart questions and listen carefully. Knowing, in order to effectively guide you in all areas of wealth management, he must know where you stand today, and where you dream of being tomorrow. He will then design, implement and monitor a customized wealth management strategy and time-tested investment program that helps enable you to achieve your personal financial goals without undue sacrifice to your lifestyle or unnecessary investment risk. Drawing on a network of specialists, Joshua will help you find powerful and innovative ways to connect all the pieces of your financial life so that you can achieve life on your terms. He believes that wealth management is not merely moving money or chasing temporary gains. Rather, it is using goals, to turn real, sustainable wealth, into reality.
Joshua feels that commitment to the review process and accessibility in-between scheduled reviews are essential components in achieving the desired result with any investment portfolio. Sometimes financial circumstances change or additional opportunities become available. He believes that two-way communication is imperative. His goal is to become a lifetime resource and an essential partner to those who have entrusted him with their financial well being. In addition, Joshua works closely with clients’ other family advisors including attorneys and accountants, to focus on clients’ tax, estate, and wealth transfer planning strategies to truly be an “essential partner.”
Joshua comes to Merrill Lynch from Edward Jones Investments, where he quickly found his niche working with non profit organizations assemble and implement competitive, cost effective benefit packages designed to attract top talent into the non profit sector.
He also currently serves as a Military Intelligence Officer for the 345th Military Intelligence Battalion out of Fort Gordon, GA. After the attacks of September 11, 2001, Joshua went to an Army Recruiting Station, signed up, and then received his commission from Fort Benning, GA, graduating “Distinguished Military Graduate.”
He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the College of Charleston and resides in Summerville, SC with his wife Christine.
