Willard joined Merrill Lynch in 1998 as a Financial Advisor. Willard works with individuals, families, and business owners. He focuses on wealth management and provides financial solutions designed to meet each client’s investment, education and retirement planning needs, including wealth protection and estate planning services. Drawing on his experience and Merrill Lynch's global resources, Willard develops personalized solutions based on a financial plan to address the complex needs of individuals and business owners.
He understands that one of the biggest challenges for an individual, family, or business is creating a financial strategy to reach their financial goals. Willard utilizes Merrill Lynch's time-tested Wealth Management Process to accomplish this. He is committed to understanding the specific situations of the people and businesses he works with; thereby being able to establish objectives, develop an appropriate strategy, recommend solutions, and review the progress made toward reaching those goals and objectives. Once the goals and objectives have been established, he will then select from a broad range of capabilities from within the Merrill platform that are designed to help clients build their financial life.
Before beginning this process, Willard explores which Client Service Model best suits the client’s needs. The agreed upon commitment would include the level of contact needed to provide detailed financial and investment advice to rebalancing of the portfolio based on stated goals, objectives, and risk tolerance levels. He understands that there is an extraordinary need for privacy concerning financial matters. All discussions and portfolio activity are kept in the strictest of confidence.
Willard has earned the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM (CRPC®) designation. Willard firmly believes continuing education is essential to serving the best interests of clients.
He and his wife, Debbie and their four children, reside in Grand Junction, Co. Willard has over 25 years of professional experience in management, and prior to joining Merrill Lynch he was a CEO of a NASDAQ listed Company.
