PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
Tim Mosley, CAIA, CSNA is a Financial Advisor in the downtown San Jose office of Merrill Lynch and joined the firm in early 2008. As a highly trained investment professional, Tim helps establish financial strategies and select suitable investments to meet each client's singular goals. Mr. Mosley primarily focuses on the complex financial needs of high net worth individuals, families, business owners and institutions. He holds both the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and Certified Special Needs Advisor (CSNA) designations.
Tim's investment philosophy is fundamentally moderately conservative with a view toward long term relationships with clients. He believes in following an approach of maximum diversification of assets and investments while pursuing absolute return strategies and tactics. He believes in offering only the highest level of service based on integrity, reliability and commitment, the cornerstone of which is a philosophy of "doing what you say you are going to do."
Tim has over twenty years of marketing, business development and consulting experience in Silicon Valley having worked at such firms as Apple Inc., Lockheed Martin, AC Nielsen, The Gartner Group as well as others including several start-ups. This significant background has afforded him the ability to understand and develop the finer points of building trusted relationships between client and advisor.
A Bay Area native, Tim grew up in San Jose and graduated from Santa Clara University with a B.S. in Mathematics/Mathematical Economics as well as an MBA. He also holds a Master's degree in Economics from San Jose State University where he graduated first in his class. As a parent of an autistic child, he is active in autism awareness issues. He lives with his wife and three children in the Silver Creek area of San Jose.
