PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
The Vigil Group provides clients with the intimacy and personal touch of a small, specialized financial advisory boutique, along with the vast products, services and solutions of a large investment bank. We specialize in helping clients meet their investment goals and objectives, while at the same time helping clients preserve wealth and manage risk and volatility. We seek to achieve this balance by employing Merrill's open architecture platform, which includes many of the world's most reputable investment managers, hedge funds, mutual funds, ETF's, and Commodity Trader Advisors (CTA's), to create sophisticated portfolios of non-correlating asset classes. In addition, we work closely with outside advisors, accountants and attorneys, to ensure that clients receive the highest possible level of service and financial advice.
Mark graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Economics and started his career in the financial services industry in 1997. Mark joined Merrill Lynch in 2005 as a Financial Advisor and holds the title of Assistant Vice President. He achieved the distinction of becoming an Accredited Asset Management Specialist through the College of Financial Planning.
Linda graduated from the University of San Diego with a degree in Business Administration and started her career in the financial services industry in 1997. Linda joined Merrill Lynch in 2005 as a Financial Advisor and holds the title of Assistant Vice President. She achieved the distinction of becoming an Accedited Asset Management Specialist through the College of Financial Planning.
Mark and Linda live in Carlsbad with their 2 sons, Cheyne and Christian and their yellow Labrador dog, Kona. Mark and Linda enjoy racing and training for Triathlons and both have finished several Ironman Triathlons (Ironman Canada, Hawaii Ironman, Ironman California) while Linda has achieved All-American Status within USA Triathlon age group rankings. Mark is active in Carlsbad Youth Baseball as a coach and sponsor for his son's team.
