Susan and her team dedicate their time and energy to assist clients who are realizing the benefits and challenges of their success. She has worked with families building a reputation as a trusted advisor to assist them through the good as well as challenging times over the years. For busy people, living complex lives, Susan offers a process that includes facilitative discussions to address the question:

Clients: This is a highly customized process, typically for executives and business owners who want assistance in navigating through the issues that arise as a result of their success. By specializing in assisting this distinctive group, Susan finds that the issues they face are uniquely paired with her skills and expertise in creating and preserving wealth for current and future generations.
Areas of Concentration: She is able to provide a high level of service by using a disciplined approach to addressing wealth management issues including: investments, insurance, liabilities, qualified retirement plans, stock options, cash management and business succession planning. She also reviews gifting plans to care for spouses, children and charities.
Background: Susan began her career in financial services in 1996. Prior to entering the financial services industry, Susan worked in the professional publishing and newspaper divisions of Times Mirror, which owned The Los Angeles Times, Newsday and The Hartford Courant.
Education: She holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and a Masters Degree in Community Counseling, both from St. Bonaventure University. Susan has completed training at Wharton's Executive Education Program and The Johnson School at Cornell University and has advanced training in retirement and estate planning.
Service to the Community is an integral part of Susan’s life. She is a trustee of Nazareth College, on the board for The Community Foundation and Children's Institute. She has been a consistent sponsor and speaker for The International Women's Conferences over the past decade. She has published articles in the Rochester Business Journal. Susan takes a special interest in assisting veterans and military families in meeting their financial planning needs.
Team Members: Joining Susan is Catie Arnold, Registered Client Associate. Catie joined Merrill Lynch in the Boston office in 2006. She holds her bachelor’s degree in business administration from SUNY Geneseo. She concentrates her efforts on assisting clients in meeting their day-to- day account needs and utilizing the extensive technology resources available exclusively to Merrill Lynch clients. Our other team members include specialists in retirement planning, trust and estate planning and banking services.
