The Ling Group was founded to provide clients with a world-class investment experience. We are dedicated to helping businesses, organizations, families, and individuals in achieving their financial goals through consultation and investment planning.Evan Ling has been with Merrill for over 20 years and is the leader of the team. He oversees the team's operation and sets strategic focus on the team's direction. He also focuses on offshore trusts, restricted stock sales, annuities, and structured products. Evan was born in Taiwan and holds a Ph.D. from Georgia Tech. He and his wife Elena live in Diamond Bar and have 3 children.Ben is responsible for the day-to-day operation of our team. He focuses on liability management, mutual fund selection, alternative investments, and investment research. Ben's role includes tailoring an allocation strategy for each client, monitoring performance, and conducting portfolio reviews. Ben joined Merrill in 2003. He graduated from UC Berkeley and currently lives in Hacienda Heights.Wendy's role is to facilitate the opening and transfer of new accounts. She assists clients with account service information and daily operational needs and issues. Wendy joined Merrill in 2000. She attended Cal State Fullerton and now lives in Chino Hills.
