Joseph F. Myer, CFP® - Assistant Vice President, Financial Advisor
With over a decade of experience as a Financial Advisor, Joe has built his practice around the needs of retirees; high and ultra-high net worth individuals; and small to middle market corporations and institutions.
Joe is a graduate of The University of Wyoming, and holds a Certificate of Financial Planning from Georgetown University. Joe is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, and Registered Financial Advisor with the NFL Players Association. Prior to returning to his home state of Virginia to become a Financial Advisor, Joe worked on the trading floor of The Chicago Board of Trade.
To meet the diverse needs of his clients, Joe retains a team of specialists who focus on: managed investments, wealth management banking, retirement plans, alternative investments, structured investments, annuities, trusts, and estate planning. Joe and his team work closely with his clients' tax and legal professionals to ensure that strategies are recommended and executed in a careful and thoughtful manner.

He is the President of The Rotary Club of Frederick County. Joe is a Director for The Clarke County Education Foundation; and an appointee to the Clarke County Sanitary Authority. He also serves on the Planned Giving Committee for Blue Ridge Hospice.
In his free time, Joe enjoys equestrian activities, golf, downhill skiing, and watching football. He and his wife, Tamara, have two daughters, Katherine and Reagan.

After a successful career in banking operations, Dorothy joined Merrill Lynch as a Client Associate. She was immediately additive to the Leesburg office's top flight staff by helping the office achieve top honors in the national 2007 Service Quality Award.
