Most importantly, we will earn and build a long-term relationship of trust.

Our practice works together with families that aspire to simultaneously preserve their lifestyle while growing their wealth to stay ahead of inflation and taxes. We employ a prudent asset management strategy guided by a written investment policy that manages risk, optimizes portfolio returns, and wrings the emotion out of financial decision making.

As your Wealth Management Coach, we will help you recognize the irrational behavior that exists in financial markets and guide you away from the common psychological pitfalls that derail countless investors.

Mike and Tom have earned the privilege to use the mark of the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®). The CFP designation requires rigorous study in complex financial disciplines as well as one of the most discriminating and strict code of ethics in the financial services industry. They have also earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ designation (CRPC®) and the Merrill Lynch "Wealth Management Advisor" credential, respectively demonstrating specialization in retirement and wealth management strategies for affluent families.

Mike is a Vice President and has been with Merrill Lynch since 1975. He earned his Masters in Public Administration from Syracuse University's Maxwell School and Bachelor's degree in Political Science from SUNY Oswego. Mike and his wife, Shari, reside in Mendon. They have three grown children: Michael, Meghan, and Katie.

Tom is a Vice President and joined Merrill Lynch in 1992. He earned his MBA from Clarkson University and Bachelor's degree in Business Management from SUNY Geneseo. Tom and his wife, Trish, live in Canandaigua with their two boys, Brendan and Kevin.

Sandy is a Registered Senior Client Associate and manages the administrative responsibilities of the team's practice. She joined Merrill Lynch in 1989 after receiving her Bachelor's degree in Business from Clarion University. Sandy lives in Henrietta with her husband, Brian, and their two children, Tyler and Samantha.
