Mark Ashdown, CFP®

Mark Ashdown joined Merrill Lynch in 1972 coming from the Palm Beach area. Over the years Mark has built a successful practice that specializes in wealth management, financial and estate planning issues, as well as fixed-income and equities strategies.

Mark attended Florida State University where he received his bachelor of science in Business Administration. He and his wife Patricia reside in Vero Beach while his son is attending college out of state. In the community Mark is active with numerous committees at the Vero Beach Museum of Art, the Exchange Club of Indian River, Dollars for Scholars, and he is an avid runner.


Britain Hogan, CRPC®
Financial Advisor

Britain joined the Vero Beach office of Merrill Lynch in 2007 after working in Tampa, Florida as a Financial Advisor for a regional firm. Britain’s passion is working with clients to help them reach their financial, retirement and estate planning goals. She also specializes in serving families of special needs children.

Britain graduated from Appalachian State University with degrees in Economics, Finance & Banking. A Vero Beach native, Britain is a Board Member of The Indian River Land Trust, Contemporaries Steering Committee member at the Vero Beach Art Museum, and a member of the Garden Club.

Marsha Peterson
Senior Associate


Marsha has been with Merrill Lynch for 23 years; over which time she has developed a strong rapport with all of her clients. Marsha’s focus is on great customer service and always putting the client first.

She is a native of Florida and resides in Sebastian with her husband, Kenny, and daughters, Jessica and Kendall.

Maria, a native of Florida, attended Stetson University where she received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. Maria resides in Sebastian with her husband, Rick, and their two sons, Richard and Andrew.
