Chris Dubberly, CFM

A 20 year veteran of the securities business, Chris left his career in anesthesiology to follow his interest in investing. This move led him to Merrill Lynch, where he has since earned the designation of Certified Financial Manager. He is approved within the Merrill Lynch Personal Investment Advisory® (Merrill Lynch PIASM) program.
As a specially qualified Financial Advisor within the Merrill Lynch PIA program, Chris uses Merrill Lynch research to develop customized portfolios. He is responsible for monitoring the portfolio mangers, rebalancing strategies and economic cycles for clients.
Chris received his B.S. degree from the University of Alabama in 1977 and an M.S. degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 1979. He has served as a member of the board of directors of the Salvation Army, is a member of the Montgomery Rotary Club, and is currently on the vestry and building committee of Christchurch. He is an athlete who enjoys running, tennis, and golf.
Leah Dubberly, CFP®, CDFA

In her 30 year career, Leah Dubberly has been a business owner, corporate marketing executive, political action committee fundraiser and Capitol Hill congressional staffer. Leah has been with Merrill Lynch for 15 years and is certified as a Certified Financial Planner™ and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst. Her vast experience provides her with a board perspective on financial matters, and her team responsibilities include financial planning,
individual retirement planning, corporate retirement plans, and estate planning coordination. Her greatest gift is being unafraid to tackle difficult questions and family relationships in estate and divorce planning cases.
Leah received her B.A. degree in Music performance from Samford University in 1977. She loves public speaking, and her volunteer activities include the board of directors of Saint James School, past board member of Hospice of Montgomery and STJ Performing Arts Guild. She is also an active member of Christchurch Chancel Choir.
Leah and Chris Dubberly have been married for 20 years and partners in The Dubberly Group since 1994. They have one daughter, Meredith, who is a scholarship student in musical theater at Birmingham Southern College.
Daniel Dean, CFP®
Financial Advisor
Daniel Dean joined The Dubberly Group after five years in financial services with Synovus Financial Corporation. In 2007, he successfully completed the requirements for the Certified Financial Planner designation. Since obtaining his CFP® certification, Daniel has focused on retirement income planning, wealth management for individuals and corporate retirement plans.
Daniel received his B.A. degree in Business Administration from Huntingdon College in 2001. He has been married to Lindsey since April of 2005, and they have two daughters, Madeleine, age 3, and a new baby girl, Katherine. He enjoys golf, tennis and spending time with his family. He is a member of Christchurch, where he serves as an usher and youth group leader. Other community activities include serving on the board of directors for the Montgomery Capital Rotary Club, serving as a member of the Jimmy Hitchcock memorial Award selection committee and being on the planning committee for an annual fundraiser for Father Walter’s Memorial Childcare Center.
Margaret Dauphin, CFM

Margaret joined The Dubberly Group in 2005 with 20 years of experience with Merrill Lynch. She is a certified Financial Manager® and is responsible for client service issues and operational and administrative issues. Margaret completed her series 7 in 1990, and she later completed her series 66. Margaret is a Merrill Lynch Platinum Client Service Award winner.
Margaret attended Troy State University to complete several accounting courses. She has been married for 20 years to Jerry Dauphin and they have two sons, Matthew, age 8, and Drew, age 11. She and her family enjoy Lake Martin and little league baseball with her sons Matthew and Drew. Margaret is a member at First United Methodist Church.
